If you listen closely, you can hear your vanilla ice cream begging for some of this compote."

"Josie's English Kitchen was the ONLY choice for our company's holiday order. Our business has clients nationwide, from all different backgrounds to varied personal preferences, but we knew Josie's English Kitchen could provide quality, delectable gifts that would satisfy even the pickiest palette. Josie's English Kitchen surpassed our expectations in personal service, quality and presentation. It doesn't get better than this!"

"In 2008 we asked Josie Coleman to create something special for our annual corporate Christmas gifts. Something that would communicate sincere appreciation for these relationships and something that a family would enjoy. She exceeded my expectations with the jams and syrup from her kitchen. She also did this with quality, care and—equally important—on time"

"Our first taste of Josie's English Kitchen came to us for Christmas. We were charmed with the home made presentation: gingham and ribbons adorned jelly jars. We were gifted the Port & Cranberry Compote, Sun-Dried Tomato Tapenade, Cranberry, Date & Pineapple Holiday Chutney and Orange Marmalicious Syrup and so through the course of our Maryland winter used them in no conventional ways! We served the Orange Marmalicious Syrup tossed with sliced oranges and raspberries over vanilla ice cream topped with nonpareils at a formal dinner party then repeated the combination for midnight snacks 'til we ran out of the Syrup and never once did it make it to the pancakes! We dressed our Easter Ham in the Port and Cranberry Compote and served some on the side to rave reviews. We put small dollop kisses of the Sun-Dried Tomato Tapenade on locally (Neopol) smoked chicken breasts and so tasted California in early May. And I made French vanilla ice cream from local cream and sugar for the the Cranberry, Date & Pineapple Holiday Chutney which we did not share because it was just so fab. Josie's Kitchen goodies are on our wish list for Christmas and we will be gifting her baskets for 2009 holidays!"

ODE TO AN ENGLISH KITCHEN
(a bad poem with good intentions)
Josie's Kitchen is simply a heavenly spot
for tasty diversions she stews in a pot.
Her English concoctions all fab and delish
are a welcome addition to any fine dish.
As a prelude to dinner, it's simply divine,
Port and Cranberry Compote with cheese and fine wine.
Or the tapenade made from tomato sun-dried?
Good on every bread product and pasta... I've tried.
Each special occasion is reason to stock up
on Holiday Chutney, but make sure you lock up
your goods in a secret stash for the next fête
or you'll find yourself stranded with nothing to et.
For it's easy to overindulge on Miss Josie's
as temptation to binge becomes full blown neurosis.
The sweet Marmalicious once made me cry "medic!"
when I ate way too much... I'm type 1 diabetic.
For an anytime gift or a secret obsession
Josie's Kitchen will make a terrific impression.
Order two jars of each, maybe three jars, NO SIX!
For a good time call Josie and she'll send you your fix.
